1.Darth Vader (Star Wars)

Darth Vader appeared in Star Wars episode 3: Revenge of the Sith (2005), episode 4-6 (1977-1983).   Based on some movie reviews, Darth Vader is the best villain of all time. I agree with them, Darth Vader has a good personification of both a father and a villain after all. The best scene I love to watch is, when Luke Skywalker (the son of Darth Vader) tried to bring Darth Vader to be saved (episode 6: Return of the Jedi). Finally, Luke failed to bring him in a fighter. Then, Luke open the Vader's mask and voila! Luke finally had seen his father's face for the first time, but also for the last time. It's quite ironic because Luke fougth against his father before, and they couldn't unite to be a family at last.

2.Joker (The Dark Knight)
I heard a tumultuous news that Heath Ledger died because of his role as Joker. People said that 'Joker' got into him, then influenced his life. But, I don't know either, for all I know, Heath Ledger did an awesome role as Joker. Thanks to Joker, Heath Ledger won the Oscar in 2009. Joker appeared in The Dark Knight (2008) as a ruthless villain. FYI, there will be the sequel of The Dark Knight this year; The Dark Knight Rises. I look forward to watching this movie.

3.Agent Smith (The Matrix)
I think this is the perfect portrayal of Hugo Weaving ever. Agent Smith appeared in all of The Matrix series. He can copy himself by thrusting other people. Soon, the people thrust by him, turn into Agent Smith. By the way, I love his mimic, the expression of his face. Weaving looks good on his tuxedo, it fits him to a T. Well, I don't think there is someone better than Weaving's "Agent Smith".

4.Darth Maul (Star Wars)

Darth Maul appeared in Star Wars episode 1: The Phantom Menace only. I don't know why I choose this character to be one of my favorite villains. I just like his make-up and costume he wore. I like his lightsaber, too. unfortunately, he got short performance in this movie.

5.Lord Voldemort (Harry Potter)
You know, guys? I'd been waiting for his performance since Harry Potter's first movie. I was surprised enough to see his incarnation for the first time. He has no nose like human being and the darkness comes right after his presence. Nobody dares to mention Voldemort's name (instead of say "you-know-who") but Harry Potter. Harry Potter has a deep vengeance to Lord Voldemort since his parents were killed by him. Harry Potter has to wait for about 11 years to kill Lord Voldemort.
6.Magneto (X-men)
He is the coolest mutant in X-men series. Know why? This is because of  his unique power that can control all iron matter. He can fly because Earth is a magnet, that's why he can turn on the "anti-gravity" mode. Magneto even can fly a bridge, Golden Gate Bridge in X-men: The Last Stand.
I like to read the history of Magneto. I have the X-Men Classic comic and there's the story of him when he was in Auschwitz Concentration Camp and it's an amazing story. The story is a little bit different from the latest X-men movie; First Class.

7.Megatron (Transformers)

I think Megatron is the last greatest villain I've ever seen. Megatron (and Starscream) can exist in Transformers trilogy and Megatron, of course, is stronger than Sentinel Prime. I don't really like Transformers but the battle between Optimus and Megatron impressed me.

So, that's all the best villains I've ever seen!
